The Algerians fighting for independence from French colonialism were not called “anti-white,” nor were the Blacks in South Africa accused of “reverse discrimination,” in fact, no other colonized people raising against their occupier have been accused of racism. But because the hegemonic discourse in North America equates “Jews” with Israel, Palestinians who seek an end to their oppression are vilified here as anti-Semitic.–
